Full Email Editor Tools

Knowledge Level:
Time: Less than 5 minutes
Suggested Skills: HTML, CSS but not required
Objective: This article covers various tools within the Full Email Editor that adjust the HTML and CSS. One tool we highly recommend is located within the Module Manager and is called the "Tag Inspector". This allows you to more easily identify selected elements. What's the difference between inline styling and CSS?

Inline styles: Inline styles are applied directly to the element itself. You can edit the inline styling through clicking on your item and using the tools outlined below. You can also switch to the HTML tab and edit directly.

CSS:It stands for Cascading Style Sheet. Think of it as a template style-guide. It dictates how "tagged" elements appear within the campaign. You can edit styling that is supported by the CSS by using the Style Builder or by switching to the HTML tab and write/edit directly.

Note: When your email campaign sends, all supported CSS is "inlined" to increase consistency across email clients.
